Why Use a Life Coach?
Clients come to me for many reasons. Some examples include:
- Your life feels as though it's not moving in a good direction, or perhaps it feels as though it’s not moving at all.
- You have goals and great ideas about how you want your life to look, but are having difficulty putting together a plan.
- You feel stuck in the same pattern of unwanted events and want to break out of the cycle.
- You are continually met with roadblocks placed there by people around you.
- You feel worn down and tired and want to reinvigorate and energize yourself and your days.
- You have strengths and talents that you either discount or can't seem to incorporate into the rest of your life.
- You spend all of your energy helping those around you. Everyone relies on you for guidance and assistance, but there is no room for your needs.
Life Coaching is not Therapy
Life Coaching is very different from therapy. We will focus on results: the faster, the better. We will clarify your goals, set a series of realistic steps and begin down the path to reaching your endpoint. We will discuss the projected amount of time it will take to reach each goal. Past events and life experiences may be how we got to where we are, but we will focus on making choices in the present to improve your life right now. Our discussions will be focused on overcoming obstacles, reinforcing your successes and propelling you forward.
I am a certified life coach, not a therapist. Coaching is not a medical service and is not covered by medical insurance.
